CP INAUGURATES SPECIAL TRAINING DRIVE AT POLICE LINES FOR ASPIRANTS OF POLICE RECRUITMENT

ALSO APPEALS DISTRICT ADMINISTRATION TO OPEN ALL STADIUMS, GROUNDS OF EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS FOR TRAINING PURPOSES

With a view to provide better training facilities to aspirants of ensuing police recruitment in the district, Commissioner of  Police Gurpreet Singh Bhullar today kick-started a special training drive in Police Lines to assist the prospective candidates in their training.

Divulging the details, CP Gupreet Singh Bhullar accompanied by Deputy Commissioner of  Police Gurmeet Singh, said that Director General of Police Dinkar Gupta has issued directions to all the officers to provide training facilities to the aspirants so that they could prepare for the upcoming Police recruitment. He added that following the directions, the City Police today started a special training drive in the Police lines adding trainers of local Police have also been roped-in to guide the aspirants.

The CP also appeals to the district administration to open all stadiums and grounds of the educational institutions for the training purposes along with the availability of coaches and requisite infrastructure pertaining to the sports department in these grounds. These include high jump stands/mattresses, long jump infrastructure and marking, etc. He stated that the sole purpose of this drive is to enable the aspirants to realize their dreams through proper training and performing well in the recruitment exams.

 

Mr. Bhullar called upon youths to come forward for the upcoming recruitment rally of the Police department and start their practices in advance and assured best of the assistance by the department in their training. He directed the officials to accord top priority to the directions issued by the DGP Punjab so that these can be implemented in letter and spirit.
