Workers of Youth Congress Jalandhar tied the noose of unemployment around their neck and staged a protest in model town market—Angad Dutta

Today Youth Congress Jalandhar (Urban) President Angad Dutta along with the members of Jalandhar Youth Congress celebrated the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi as “NATIONAL EMPLOYMENT DAY” in Model Town Market, Jalandhar. The workers of Youth Congress Jalandhar tied the noose of unemployment around their neck and mark the protest against centre’s policies.
During the protest Angad Dutta President Youth Congress Jalandhar said that the Narender Modi had promised two lacs job per year and has not fulfilled it at all. The policies of union government are responsible for the state of unemployment across the country. Parents of the educated youth are watching their kids being compelled to pull rikshaws or work as labourers or fry pakoras on the roadside. By-snatching their future PM Modi and his policies has made the self-reliant. As per media reports more than 4000 companies may be shut down in the coming days. If there is no job there will no difference between Sunday or Monday.
He further said that Modi Government came to power by showing big dreams to the citizens. But today is has become difficult for a common man to purchase expensive cooking gas cylinders. Inflation is rising persistently and price of LPG cyclinder is soon going to cross Rs 1000. The price of cooking gas cylinders has more than doubled under Narender Modi’s rule. He also urged people to support the Congress in this fight against the Modi government’s oppression so that unprecedented hike could be rolled back. “If this is ‘acche din’ of Modi sahib, then I wonder what will be the situation otherwise
Amrik Singh, Senior Youth Congress leader said that today it is one year of three farm’s law which will lead to abolishment of MSP guaranteed by the government on selected crops and leave them at the mercy of big corporates. Last Year i.e. on 17th September ordinance is passed in Lok Sabha. A number of farmers have died and many are still sitting at the State Borders but this government in indifferent. We will continue our fight until the three farm laws are repealed.
Randeep Sandhu President AYC Jalandhar Cantt said that “Regressive policies of Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led government aims at taking back people to medieval times by stalling economic growth and breaking the backbone of residents,”. He said unprecedented hike in petroleum products has put an extra burden on the pocket of a common man. He said instead of reducing or controlling the prices, the Centre has been on a continuous spree to enhance prices just to corner the benefit to their blue-eyed private petroleum firms.
Those who are present are Sh Jaskaran Sohi, Sh Charanpreet Channi, Sh Rohit Pathak, Sh Sehaj Chabra, Sh Harmeet Singh, Sh Rahul Singhla, Sh Vipan Bajaj and more than 100 workers of Youth Congress Jalandhar.
